Comfort that feels good enough for the sofa and the bed.
You shouldn't have to choose between a sofa that's comfortable to lounge on and a sleeper that's actually good to sleep on. The S8+ combines SmartFoam™ for flexible structure and lasting support with CloudMemory™, a softer comfort layer that gently cushions your body for a more relaxed feel.
Because the best sleeper sofas are meant to be lived in.
Life happens on your sofa. Spills, pets, guests, movie nights. The S8+ cover is fully removable and machine washable, so you can keep your sofa looking fresh without all the effort.
Unzip. Wash. Done.
Sofa by day. King-size comfort by night.
The S8+ gives you plenty of room to relax and stretch out, plus a 76" × 80" king-compatible sleeping surface. Open it up for movie nights or weekend guests, then turn it back into a sofa when the day starts. Fits standard King sheets, no special sizing needed.
Built for real life, not just the good-looking moments.
Performance Corduroy™ is made for everyday living. Its spill-resistant finish helps repel liquids, making those inevitable little accidents easier to wipe away, without compromising on softness or comfort. It’s also PFAS-free certified, so you can feel good about what you’re bringing into your home.
Unique in both design and utility.
Your phone, remote, glasses, favorite book — there’s a place for all the little things you reach for most. The built-in side pocket keeps them close by, so you can settle in and stay there.
Your space changes. Your sofa bed can, too.
Need more room to lounge? Rearranging the room? Moving somewhere new? The S8+ is lightweight and modular, so you can reposition and reconfigure it as your space and routine change.
NEW THIS SEASON
Four new colors. One for every mood.
The S8 Plus arrives with four new seasonal colorways — each inspired by the textures and tones of the world around us. Same Performance Corduroy™. Same compact design. A completely new feeling.

Had grandson-in-law set up the guest room for me...it was easy for he and my granddaughter to do this job. It looks so great and I'm looking forward to my son and his partner and the 2 granddaughters and their spouses to visit now that they can actually sleep over... Very pleased.
Easy setup, comfortable and can tell this will last a long time. It’s on the firmer side but overtime I can see it breaking in which contributes to the longevity I can this having. Love the versatility of it also and can actually see myself using the other “modes” this one offers. It’s not a gimmick in my opinion. The color is also an exactly how it looks online. So if you are on the fence, I’d say you will be happy with it.
This is an excellent sofa bed for my tiny home! The product quality and the design are second to none! I love the ease of conversion into a very comfy king size bed - perfect for my grandkids sleepover!!! Excellent business to deal with! I can highly recommend this amazing product to anyone looking for an affordable sofa bed. Love it❣️❣️❣️
I needed a sofa for my office where I could take cat naps and lounge and read (I am a professor). I can't believe how sturdy the couch is and it arrived in the box and was so easy to put together!
Very firm, but I assume that will settle with use. Hardest part of assembly was slipping the covers on the support bars - very tight! Colour is gorgeous!
It is very firm. But that is not a problem for us. It looks great in our guest room. We haven’t used it as a sleeper yet. So far it’s been very good. The cover material is comfortable. All in all we like it a lot.
I’m extremely impressed and happy with this purchase, I was not expecting such a great product!
Rove Lab definitely set the right expectations. My Rove Lab S8 was shipped on the very last day of the shipment window and arrived within a week of being shipped. I waited just under a month for the S8 from purchase to delivery. I would’ve appreciated receiving it a little sooner but overall I can’t complain. As for the Rove Lab S8 sofa bed itself, I’m very pleased with it and am glad I purchased it. The biggest downside, in my opinion, is the fact that the material covers on this couch cannot be removed and washed. I’ve made use of couch throw blankets to protect the fabric. Overall, giving the S8 a 4.5/5 after factoring in the relatively long shipment process and the inability of the couch materials to be washed. I still highly recommend the S8 for anyone in the market for a versatile sofa bed.
The foam is a bit stiff
Very happy with the purchase! We have a small living room and it’s perfect!
Worth every penny! I couldn't be happier with the Rove Lab S8 Sleep Sofa. From the moment it arrived, the experience was impressive. Setup took all of about 7 minutes—unbox it, remove the wrapping, and watch the sofa expand into shape. No complicated assembly, no tools, no frustration. The comfort surprised me. As a sofa, it's exceptionally comfortable with plenty of room for two people, and you could squeeze three if needed. In bed mode, two adults can sleep comfortably without feeling cramped. Converting it into a bed couldn't be easier. It takes me about two minutes—simply unfold it and you're done. No heavy mechanisms or awkward pull-out frames to wrestle with. One feature I didn't realize I'd appreciate so much is that it sits directly on the floor. No more dog toys disappearing underneath, no dust bunnies collecting where you can't reach them, and it gives the sofa a clean, modern look. The color is absolutely spectacular and fits my space perfectly. It has become one of the focal points of the room and looks every bit as good as it feels. If you're looking for a sleeper sofa that's easy to set up, genuinely comfortable for both sitting and sleeping, and has a thoughtful, modern design, I'd recommend the Rove Lab S8 without hesitation.
Firm but I like it that way. Easy to move around.
I placed this sofa bed in my spare room to be used by my grandchildren for their sleepover at our home. Perfect size. Love the green color. Added a television to the room so they can relax in there. I can also use it as a quiet, cozy room to read or watch tv when hubby watches golf. It’s a perfect sofa bed for this room!
Like the color and size. The grandkid, 9, liked sleeping on it all last week, and Iooks forward to sleepovers here with all his cousins. I find it better as a sofa to read on, as its “give” when I sit on it is very slight. I will buy a foam topper for when his parents and other guests come for an overnight.
The sofa is super comfortable!! I also had one very important question and Nicko from Customer Service helped me with it a lot! Recommend a lot!!
So easy to purchase, even easier to set up. Perfect in our guest room.
Very disappointed and sadly will never order again. Very hard and uncomfortable to sit on and impossible to sleep on. Hard to turn into a bed and hurt my back severely trying to sleep on it. Chiropractor appointments followed costing me immensely. Would like my money back but impossible to return with ad customer service. It took so long to ship that I had no time to find a replacement sleeper before promised schedule delivery was weeks out of promised time you said it would be delivered. From the picture I sent I had to add a 2 4 inch memory foam toppers on top that made it slightly better but cost me dearly. 🥵🤢
This couch is so much better than expected! I bought it as a couch for the basement that can withstand the abuse of teen boys and turn into a bed for sleepovers. It has exceeded my expectations, is actually comfortable to sit on as well ans aesthetically pleasing. The boys can easily convert it from couch to bed on their own. For the price, it would be hard to beat. Recommend!
Very sleek design, elevates the space. perfect size and nice overall firmness and spaciousness.
Perfect As expected
Good quality - would recommend!
Great!
Bit worried about it as then packaging was damaged. Love the sofa not sure I’ve got it set up correctly no instructions inside the box ?
We have only just set it up. We were blown away how it comes in a medium size box & yet when it unravels transforms in to quite a large sofa. We haven't used it as a bed as yet as it is only going to be used when visitors come. We are happy with our choice as it looks very stylish.
Absolutely worth the wait! I love the colour and it’s much more solid and firm than I expected! Versatile, comfortable, everything I wanted it to be!
Just love my new sofa 🥰
A totally satisfying experience from purchase to setup. We love the versatility of this sleeper sofa, the corduroy fabric feels fantastic and the firmness is sooooo addictive.
Awesome couch! Doggy approved, pretty sure he thinks it’s a giant dog bed. It’s very firm and comfortable. The round bolstered cushions are great when the couch is folded out and you’re laying down, but aren’t very comfortable when sitting in couch mode - minor problem that’s easily solved with a large volume pillow against the wall or the cushion itself.
We weren’t sure about ordering off of a site like this originally. We contemplated about ordering this couch for a while… But we loved the style and it looked great quality, and was made locally so we jumped! We are so glad we did! This couch is truly incredibly well-made. The fabric is a wonderful water repellent soft corduroy, and is incredibly dense and sturdy foam. The set up process was easy and super fast!
I love it, it’s comfortable and firm. Great peice
Love it!
The couch is fantastic! Even better than I was expecting. It’s firm, tall enough to sit on as you would a regular couch, and super adaptable. It looks great. There was an issue with delivery where it was late and arrived at my old apartment after I had moved which was not ideal but that was an issue with the delivery company they use and not the product itself.
Happy with it, just suit my requirement for my guest room.
It’s really very firm to sit on but I’m ok with that. It came quickly and was easy to set up. I needed a little help zipping it together which was no big deal.
Couldn’t have been an easier delivery. Well-made, and looks far more expensive than it was. Perfect when an extra bed is needed on occasion, but room is limited.
It's a firm sofa, not yet tried the bed part, but be aware it's not the most comfy of sofas to sit on. Definitely needs pillows to compensate. Not entirely sold myself yet, may end up using that 100 day guarantee.
Love the olive colour, so easy and quick to set up, firm but comfy. Love the design and storage pockets. Very happy 😀
That was the easiest unpacking and setting up I have ever had the pleasure of doing. So firm yet soft at the same time. Can't wait to put it in daybedovie mode!
J’adore! Merci Rove Lab 👌
FAQs
What size sheets fit the S8 Plus mattress?
The S8 Plus sleep surface is King-compatible — 76" × 80" — so you can use any standard King-size sheets. No special sizing needed.
What is CloudMemory™ and how is it different from SmartFoam™?
SmartFoam™ is Rove Lab's proprietary high-density foam base — engineered for durability, shape retention, and long-term support. CloudMemory™ is a dedicated memory foam layer added on top of the SmartFoam™ base exclusively in the S8 Plus. With density 40 and firmness 20, it provides pressure relief for shoulders and hips, reduces motion transfer when sharing the bed, and adapts to your body instead of pushing back.
Can I remove and wash the cover?
Yes. The S8 Plus cover is fully removable and machine washable. Simply unzip, remove, wash, and put it back on. No special care required; designed for families, pets, and real life.
What's the difference between the S8 and the S8+?
The S8+ is a meaningful evolution of the S8 you already know — same compact design, same tool-free assembly, same footprint. The key differences: the S8+ adds a CloudMemory™ foam layer on top of the SmartFoam™ base for a noticeably more comfortable sleep surface, includes a fully removable and machine-washable cover, and introduces 4 new seasonal colors
Is the S8 Ottoman sold separately? Does it match the S8 Plus colors?
Yes, the S8 Ottoman is sold separately as an add-on piece. It is available in all S8 Plus colors, both existing and new seasonal, and features no metal frames, keeping the same aesthetic and feel as the sofa.
Can I use my existing S8 cover on the S8+?
The S8 Plus has a slightly different seat width (+3cm) compared to the S8. We recommend using the cover designed specifically for your model to ensure the best fit and finish.
Do I need tools to assemble my S8+ Sleeper Sofa Bed?
No. The S8+ Sleeper Sofa Bed is designed for tool-free assembly. Simply unbox each module, let it expand, and connect the pieces using the built-in YKK zippers. The modules lock together securely, so setup is quick, simple, and easy to do on your own.
HOW MUCH DOES THE S8+ WEIGH?
The S8+ Sleeper Sofa Bed weighs 47.35 kg (104 lbs) and the S8+ Sectional Corner Open weighs 88.15 kg (194 lbs). Both ship in compressed boxes.
